Exciting new developments inspire gastronomists at Roca Moo, Hotel Omm’s award-winning One Michelin Star restaurant in trendy Barcelona, Spain. Head chef Juan Pretel offers foodies the enticing option of enjoying a delicious customised set menu at the “Chef’s Bar”.
Under the auspices of the Roca Moo kitchen team, diners now enjoy a privileged position at the Chef’s bar observing the team in action. The price per person for the chef’s bar experience is €90 (plus €30 for the wine matching – optional). The menu consists of 2 delicious starters, 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish, 2 desserts and a cheese platter.
In Autumn 2015, the Roca brothers together with chef Juan Pretel revamped the Roca Moo à la carte menu to create a bold, standout menu based around an enticing combination of distinctive flavours and regional Catalan inspired tasting dishes.
New dishes include plankton gnocchi with a marine pesto sauce, monkfish in its juice with capers and hazelnuts, suckling lamb cooked over a low heat with its toasted milk, coffee and idiazábal mozzarella cheese; and the ‘full olive tree’ (an exquisite olive praline ice cream, Arbequina extra virgin olive oil and vanilla and olive sponge cake).
