Abandoned warehouse plays host to a must-do Culinary Pop-up in Vienna

Austrian foodie legends Barbara Eselböck and Alain Weissgerber of the famed Taubenkobel hit Vienna this winter under the motto "Lokvogel".

Featuring on the global foodie hotlists for the past 20 years, team Taubenkobel will be showcasing their culinary talents within an abandoned former industrial brick-built warehouse located in the old Remise on Wolfganggasse in Vienna Meidling district.

From 16 November through 23 December 2018 - the creative duo returns to Vienna from their rural Taubenkobel (voted by Frommers as one of the top restaurants in the world) for a third year.

Alain Weissgerber's world cuisine will take guests on a culinary journey of delights and the creative direction of Barbara Eselböck will involve a special art project called "It's about the sausage #FRIEDEN". The object in the form of a larger-than-life peace dove that clings to the proverbial sausage instead of an olive branch will float above the heads of the guests.

Already the talk of town in Vienna, this limited event is geared for you foodie pilgrims.
